In everyday life we meet new people. Some stay for years and become members of our family. Some pass through each day quickly and are never seen again.
As an author I have a story to tell yet I tend to be shy of my writing so I don’t over promote. But I confess that seeing a Reader with her face tucked into the pages of my book makes this humble author walk on cloud nine. (or at the very least journey blissfully through the 'mists of Avalon'.)
Then there’s these six awesome words…
“Amanda cannot put your book down!”
Funny, those words came through the cell phone mixed with surprise and masculine laughter.
I confess… I’m surprised, too. But I’m also eternally grateful when a Reader enjoys my story.
“Thanks Amanda. You’ve made my day into a magickal one.”
